Salary Range: $78,000 – $93,000 depending on experience
Role and Responsibilities
ideas42 is seeking a mission-aligned team member to join our Financial Health focus area as a Senior Behavioral Designer. We envision a world where products, services, and programs are informed by behavioral science and designed to meet the financial needs of people of all socio-economic classes, ages, races, abilities, and genders so they can have a financially secure present and a self-determined future. You will have an opportunity to do work that drives financial health for people living on low- to moderate- incomes by working on creating or refining products, institutional processes and systems change.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Researching and working with the team to understand financial health topics and systems.
- Managing field projects, including intervention design, implementation, monitoring, and impact evaluation; serving as the day-to-day contact for partners and clients.
- Developing full-scale project plans, structure and timelines; managing self and project colleagues.
- Assisting/leading primary and secondary research such as surveys, interviews, and literature reviews.
- Writing and presenting findings to meet the needs and contexts of different audiences.
- Contributing to grant proposals, policy papers, and other research.
- Participating in internal strategic projects, including various aspects of organizational improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 4-8 years of relevant work experience in a financial services/financial health environment (direct service, research, nonprofit, fintech, government, etc.).
- Mission-aligned, self-starter, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of statistics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to high-quality output.
- Available and willing to travel on a flexible schedule as needed (typically less than 25%).
- Creative, smart, logical and structured thinkers.
- Passion for understanding human behavior and pursuing innovation.
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Experience with Stata.
- A background in strategy, marketing, or product development and management & client-facing experience.
