What we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our Finance team.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Controller will be responsible for oversight of general accounting and bookkeeping activities for our Israel subsidiary. The candidate should have a strong work ethic, work independently, multitask, and have a take-charge attitude. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in managing the daily GL Accounting operations, solid ASC 606 SaaS experience, and competency to own full cycle month-end close process.
Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting US GAAP for the Israeli subsidiary of US based company.
Take part in the consolidated closing process (monthly, quarterly and annually) under the US GAAP, working closely with US accounting team and FP&A.
Review compliance with government reporting requirements, statutory financial statements, and tax filings.
Assist with accounting standards and internal finance policies.
Monitor and perform accounting analysis to ensure accuracy
Work with auditors to provide audit work papers for annual review
Assist with setting an intercompany framework including support for transfer pricing.
Help design and implement financial controls and procedures to support scalability.
Assist with ad hoc tasks as needed, including sales order processing, investor reporting and business analysis.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Certified CPA
2-3 years of experience at Big 4 audit firm/software companies or a financial services company
Experience working in a global organization
Fluent Hebrew and English, both written and spoken
Knowledge and experience in US-GAAP
Strong Excel knowledge and experience
Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce and Workday. - an advantage
Strong written and verbal communication skills, both in Hebrew and English.
Hard worker and detail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive and quick learner, great interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
