At Picnic, we’re revolutionizing the way people buy groceries with our innovative and sustainable app-only service. We do almost everything in-house, developing cutting-edge technologies and processes to ensure we continue to grow rapidly without missing a beat. Picnic requires an efficient infrastructure with innovative & robust equipment that is operated in our highly automated warehouses. We’re offering you the opportunity to make a real difference in our scale-up environment.
🥜 In a nutshell
As part of the Building Infrastructure team you are the core of all hardware development throughout the Picnic supply chain, building the capabilities to shape how stuff gets done. Innovating the way we safely charge 3500 electric vehicles. Building a next gen coldchain with tools to ensure each of our customers receives their products at the right temperature. Setting up a new building program for all our 20 FCs and 120+ Hubs (& many more to come) in which we rethink designs, draw all locations in 3D and run a tight planning to ensure we deliver as promised. Design a fruit & vegetable DC from scratch where we ensure perfect ripeness every time. Specialise in complex and high value building services like our cooling and fire safety installations. Use smart energy management & renewables to match electricity capacity and demand.
