🥜 In a nutshell 

As a Salesforce Developer at Picnic you will join the Product Information Management (PIM) or the Customer Success (CS) team. In your role you will collaborate with passionate peers, who are all driven to build scalable and robust products with the latest (Salesforce) technologies. With your strong understanding of Salesforce, you will also act as a “consultant” to advise & help shape a business feature. You will not just design & implement, but own & drive your projects by contributing to all steps of the software development lifecycle. You will have all the freedom to take initiatives in the direction of improving the product or its underlying tech.

🎯 What you’ll do

  • Challenge & refine business requirements from technical standpoint
  • Resolve ambiguity (with stakeholders), breakdown, estimate & prioritize (parts of) initiatives
  • Prepare RFCs, design & implement business requirements as high-quality Salesforce solutions
  • Review designs and code of teammates; share knowledge
  • Test (unit, integration etc.) the implemented features
  • Support existing products along with other developers in case of incidents or bugs

⭐ About you

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related quantitative degree field.
  • 3+ years' experience with Salesforce implementation
  • Strong understanding and experience in data modeling
  • Solid analytical and conceptual skills to design optimal configuration vs customization/code solutions
  • Apply software engineering best practices to Apex development e.g. triggers, async apex
  • Experience with sharing and security setups of Salesforce
  • Experience in integrating Salesforce with other systems, inbound and outbound 
  • Experience in at least one front-end development technology - Visualforce, Aura, LWC
  • Experience in using IDEs e.g. IntelliJ, VSCode, Eclipse
  • Fluent in English - Dutch not required

For bonus points

  • Experience with version control (Git)
  • Understanding/experience of DX and unlocked packages
  • Relevant SF Certifications
  • Experience in working in a dynamic/fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience working with Java or Python
