At Picnic, we’re redefining grocery shopping with our innovative and sustainable app-only model. As a Working Student part of the Pricing Team, you’ll analyze data, monitor market trends, and help us deliver the best value for money - from bundle offers to pricing strategies. You’ll also work closely with our Category Teams and contribute to exciting projects across the business.
What challenges await you
Product & Pricing Management: Monitor and analyze price developments across the assortment, ensure accurate pricing information, and support the implementation and evaluation of pricing changes and promotions.
Market & Competitor Analysis: Track market developments, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform pricing and assortment decisions that maximize customer value.
Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze customer shopping behavior and product performance to improve assortment selection, app interaction, pricing and promotions.
Cross-Functional Projects: As a working student, collaborate with Category Managers, Tech Teams, Copywriters, and Supply Chain to sustainably improve product availability, reduce food waste, and create a seamless shopping experience.
Your superpowers
Ideally in the final stages of your Bachelor’s or already pursuing a Master’s degree in Business, Economics, E-Commerce, Analytics, Retail, Engineering or a related field.
Strong analytical mindset- you enjoy working with data and translating insights into business recommendations
Eye for detail to make sure no wrong price slips into the app
Comfortable with Google Sheets / Excel and dashboards, ideally first experience with Python or similar
Interest in retail, FMCG, digital grocery, pricing, or commercial strategy
Organizational skills and a proactive mindset - able to take ownership of projects from start to finish
You enjoy bouncing ideas around, asking questions, and bringing energy to the team
Fluent in English (German is a strong plus).
Availability to work 16–20 hours per week.
