Junior Finance Projects Specialist

In a nutshell

We’re scaling fast and looking for a Finance Projects Specialist with a passion for finance transformation, process improvement, and automation. If you enjoy turning complex financial processes into efficient, data-driven workflows, this role is for you. You’ll join a small, agile team that partners across Finance, Supply Chain, Technology, and Operations to tighten internal controls, improve financial reporting accuracy, and protect profitability. From building Emballage flow controls to supporting the Workday Core Finance Hub roll-out, you’ll drive high-value projects on our annual Finance innovation roadmap and deliver measurable impact. 🚀

Tricks of the trade

Own change: Scope, plan, and deliver initiatives on the Finance transformation roadmap.

Design & build: Develop internal controls, automated accounting flows, financial dashboards, and digital playbooks that teams actually use.

Data analysis & reporting: Use data models, SQL, Power BI, or Python to uncover trends, identify root causes, and improve balance-sheet and P&L accuracy.

Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with buyers, supply chain, tech teams, and Finance Operations to embed improvements across the business.

Project delivery: Lead projects such as inventory & receipts redesign, finance system automation, digitalization accelerators, and compliance improvements.

Ad-hoc support: Be a team player and provide financial and analytical support where needed.

The roadmap is bold - that's why creativity, persistence, and a love for improvements is the secret sauce.💡

Your superpowers

MSc degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

1 - 4 years of experience in Finance transformation, internal controls, audit, ERP systems, BI tools, or financial process improvement (Big 4 Associate or equivalent in-house role)

ERP / Workday experience or strong curiosity for finance systems and configuration

Analytical mindset - skilled in SQL, Power BI, Python, or data analytics tools (or eager to learn)

Strong problem-solving skills - you question “how things have always been done” and design better solutions

Pragmatic and structured, with high attention to quality, compliance, and efficiency

Fluency in English (Dutch, French, or German is a plus)
