In a nutshell

Picnic has 10,000+ products that it sells across hundreds of categories. Each of these categories requires it's own financial planning with various seasonalities, promotional plans, and initiatives.
We're looking for someone to own and expand Picnic's commercial planning for 2 months, to add more metrics and build a highly dynamic and insightful performance and budgeting tool for 2026. This model will help steer decisions of 100+ individuals at Picnic and create helpful insights to drive better commercial performance.
You will be supported by an experienced financial lead and gain great insight into how Picnic operates financially, as well as gaining valuable financial modelling skills.

Tricks of the trade

Strategic Impact: Contribute directly to shaping Picnic’s commercial direction by helping build the 2026 commercial budget model that spans all product categories.
Ownership from Day One: Take responsibility for designing and implementing a new commercial model that will sit at the heart of Picnic’s business strategy for 2026.
High-Level Exposure: Work closely with senior stakeholders across commercial, finance, and strategy teams to ensure alignment and impact at scale.
Data-Driven Modelling: Develop and refine financial and commercial models that drive decision-making and long-term planning across the business.

Your superpowers

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a finance-oriented field (e.g. Finance, Economics, or similar)
Previous internship experience at a bank, private equity firm, or similar financial institution is a strong plus
Available for 2 months
Available a minimum of 3 days p/w
Curious, independent, detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
Fluent in English

💰Attractive package
You’ll receive a gross hourly wage of €16, along with a laptop and phone to support your work. Travel costs can also be reimbursed, depending on your location.
