Internal Branding Designer

Creative 📍Amsterdam

In a nutshell

As a Junior Internal Branding Designer, you will join our Communications and Engagement team at Picnic. A team of designers, analysts, communication coordinators, event specialists and copywriters that work closely together from the start of a communication initiative until we reach the people working in our HQ and Operations. Our goal is to design the most engaging campaigns that directly speak to the people within Picnic & and ensure all our assets across multiple channels are in line with our brand. You will think along with the design briefs, develop campaign visuals and help shape Picnic’s visual identity. Each project, we aim to learn more about our target audience and become better at shaping our communications to their needs.

Tricks of the trade

Create impactful internal campaigns: Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to develop campaigns that inform, activate, and inspire our internal teams.
Champion Picnic’s visual identity: Ensure that all internal communication materials align with our visual brand. You’ll also help evolve our style for internal use cases.
Make the everyday look extraordinary: From updating posters to crafting narrow screen content and giving presentations a visual upgrade, you’ll handle frequent design requests with style and consistency, helping our internal communications stay sharp and on-brand.
Develop a data-informed design approach: Test and refine your designs based on feedback, small-scale A/B testing, or user research with employees. You’ll learn what works best in practice.
Collaborate across teams and countries: Work closely with team members from the Netherlands, Germany, and France, including designers, operations leads, HR, and internal communications.
Stay on top of trends and share insights: Research design and communication trends, especially within internal branding and employee experience—and regularly share your learnings with the team.
