We're on the lookout for a sharp-eyed Accountant (Payables) or Finance Administrator to keep our daily invoice flow running smoothly. You'll be the trusted expert ensuring invoices are complete, bookings are timely and accurate, and purchase orders hit the mark. When urgent supplier disputes pop up, you’ll step in to handle everything from order blocks to contract discussions. But this role is more than just numbers. You’ll collaborate with our team to streamline processes, find smarter ways of working, and push for efficiency at every turn. Tricks of the trade

Invoice ownership & analysis: Take full ownership of the invoice processing workflow, and perform basic analyses on Picnic’s invoices
Reporting collaboration: Collaborate with financial operations teams on periodic reporting processes
Supplier communication: Manage the finance mailbox and serve as the primary contact for supplier inquiries
Damage settlements: Oversee financial settlements for external damages efficiently and accurately
Debt management: Monitor and manage outstanding receivables and handle communication with our collection agency

Your superpowers

Completed Apprenticeship/Vocational Training or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or Bookkeeping
0-4 years of experience in a similar role
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, accuracy, and a structured approach
Beyond basic MS Excel and data analysis skills
ERP-system knowledge (Workday is a plus)
Fluency in German and English
A proactive, hands-on attitude with a creative and problem-solving mindset
Assertive in driving continuous improvement
