🥜 In a nutshell
Ever since Picnic started, the importance of consistent high-quality product photography was clear to us. That’s why we’ve always shot all our packshots in our own photo studios, eliminating any dependencies on suppliers and creating the best customer experience. You’ll be part of the product photography team. This team has an important role because without photos, we cannot sell products as online supermarket.Working together with our experienced photo retouchers and photographers, you get the opportunity to contribute to the visual presentation of the products in our app. From fresh vegetables to tasty bread or sparkling wine. With your skills you make sure our packshots are best in class examples.
🎯 What you’ll do
- Have responsibility for the production process and timely completion of our product photography
- Produce quality results that align with Picnic's guideline standards, as well as experiment with new photography to improve our strategy
- Shoot multiple product types across a variety of categories up to 125 different products per week
- Handle high-volume studio workflow in an efficient manner
- Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas to improve our visual product presentation
- Maintain necessary camera tools, photography props and studio equipment
⭐ About you
- 2-5 years of professional experience in studio or product photography
- Degree in a relevant photography field is an advantage
- Strong portfolio with relevant product photography
- You're based in the Netherlands to be able to work fulltime from our photo studio in Zaandam
- Knowledge of studio equipment, Capture One and Photoshop
- Attention for detail, ability to notice the small but important things
- Demonstrates flexibility in a fast-paced work environment
- Well-organised, ability to work on multiple projects in a given period
- Good English communication skills, verbal and written
