In this role as Director, Product Marketing Manager – Windows 365 Inbound, you will lead a team of product marketers responsible for defining the inbound strategy, messaging and narrative, competitive strategy and key product partnerships required to win and grow in the DaaS (Desktop as a Service) category. You will guide product shaping based on the market landscape, ensuring tight alignment with customer needs, differentiation, and durable value. You will also craft the overarching story for the Cloud PC category and how it evolves in the world of agents, developers and knowledge workers embracing Windows 365 as the platform of choice.
This role partners with Product Management, Engineering, and Design/UX teams to shape the product roadmap, while also working closely with Business Planning and Finance, Sales and field teams, Public Relations, Communications, and Analyst Relations to drive launch excellence and sustained growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of product marketers, setting clear direction and priorities, coaching for impact, and raising the bar on strategic thinking, execution, and cross-functional influence.
- Drive the product marketing strategy across Windows Cloud solutions, including Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Own the end-to-end positioning, value propositions, and compete strategy
- Work across the marketing and GTM (Go to Market) teams to ensure GTM meets business goals, and influence full funnel from awareness to consideration, purchase, deployment, and usage.
- Develop and maintain core assets such as pitch decks, demos, videos, roadmap decks, etc. to be used by the field in customer conversations.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with high-level product leaders and executive stakeholders, using sound judgment and market perspective to guide decision-making, align resources and priorities, and act as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with engineering, outbound marketing, field teams, and others for successful showcase at Microsoft Ignite and other events.
- Collaborate with other PMMs (Product Marketing Managers) to integrate Windows Cloud narratives into broader AI and related product messaging, assets, and campaigns.
- Contribute to internal storytelling and executive communications around Windows Cloud + AI strategy and impact.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience in business
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years people management experience or indirect people management experience (or virtual teams)
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in business
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years people management experience.
- 10+ years of product marketing experience across cloud, AI, and enterprise software.
- Product leadership and cross functional influence, leading product programs, partnering closely with engineering, shaping product roadmaps, and driving alignment across teams and executive stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strategic, customer centric mindset with analytical problem solving skills and expertise in leveraging market, customer, and competitive insights to inform product and marketing direction.
- Go to market execution expertise, including launch strategies, positioning, messaging, field enablement, and demand generation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical product concepts into compelling narratives for non-technical, technical, and executive audience.
- External product representation and evangelism, including analyst briefings, press interviews, industry events, and customer engagements.
Product Marketing M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
