We are seeking a Director of Competitive and Market Intelligence focused on Securing AI and Cloud Security. This is a high‑impact role for a market strategist with strong technical knowledge who thrives in fast‑moving spaces and wants to help shape how the industry evolves. You will develop a clear, evidence-based view of the market and translate complex technical and competitive signals into differentiated strategies across product, marketing, and go-to-market. Your work will directly influence how we position our solutions, where we invest, and how we bring new capabilities to market.

Responsibilities
Lead competitive intelligence for Securing AI and Cloud Security
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of the Securing AI and Cloud Security markets, including customer use cases, emerging threat scenarios, and evolving buyer expectations.
- Track leading and emerging vendors, market trends, and ecosystem shifts, and distill them into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Shape strategy and differentiation
- Develop competitive strategies and points of view that inform positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market decisions.
- Identify where competitors lead or lag across key areas such as AI governance, data and model protection, runtime monitoring, and agent security.
- Translate complex technical concepts into simple, outcome‑focused narratives for business and technical audiences.
Influence product direction
- Partner closely with engineering teams to bring competitive insights into roadmap, prioritization, and strategic product decisions—helping shape where we invest and how we differentiate in a rapidly evolving market.
Create win‑ready assets
- Produce high‑impact deliverables such as vendor analysis, competitive briefs, competitive strategy, executive POVs, objection handling, and sales readiness content.
- Continuously refresh guidance based on market evolution and real‑world feedback from sales, partners, and customers.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience in business
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
- OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years marketing or sales experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in business
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience translating complex technology and security concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
- Analytical skills with the ability to synthesize diverse signals into actionable insights.
- Ability to influence cross‑functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in cybersecurity, AI platforms, or AI governance and risk domains, with technical experience and the ability to engage credibly with engineering and technical stakeholders.
- Background in competitive intelligence, product marketing, or strategic market analysis.
Product Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
