We are looking for a highly skilled front-end Engineer for MSAN Ads UX products to drive user experience innovation. This role sits at the intersection of advertising domain expertise, modern frontend engineering, and applied AI, with a solid focus on building intuitive, scalable, and intelligent consumer experiences.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to MSAN Ads UX product and initiatives, partner with PM, UX designers, and dependency teams to turn ambiguous problem spaces into clear, intuitive user experiences.
- Build high‑performance, scalable frontend solutions using modern web technologies.
- Operationalize AI within frontend engineering to improve productivity.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Solid proficiency in front-end skills and modern frontend frameworks such as React (or equivalent).
- Experience building large‑scale, modular frontend systems and reusable UX components.
- Solid understanding of performance optimization, accessibility (a11y), and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Experience collaborating with backend APIs and working in service‑oriented architectures.
- Experience integrating AI/ML‑powered features into user experience
- Understanding of human‑AI interaction: prompt design, trust, explainability, and usability.
- Ability to translate AI capabilities into practical, intuitive Ads UX scenarios.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
