We are seeking a Software Engineer to join the Edge Mobile team and help build the analytics and platform foundation that supports revenue growth, ROI measurement, and AI-driven insights.

This role sits at the intersection of backend systems, analytics, and applied AI—owning business-critical pipelines and dashboards while enabling next-generation AI workflows for metrics analysis and decision support.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. • Build scalable backend systems to support revenue tracking, metrics computation, and business insights.
• Develop dashboards and analytical models (e.g., ROI, monetization) to drive data-informed decisions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Ensure high standards for data quality, consistency, and system reliability.
• Create AI-powered tools and workflows to automate analysis, improve efficiency, and enable reusable analytics patterns.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with large‑scale datasets.
• Experience building dashboards and analytical reports for business or product decision‑making.
• Solid problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
