The Senior Events Integrated Marketing Manager – AI Tour owns the integrated marketing strategy and execution for Microsoft’s AI Tour flagship event series, a global, multi‑city program designed to drive executive and technical engagement around Microsoft AI solutions. This role is accountable for translating AI Tour business objectives into cohesive, scalable, and locally adaptable integrated marketing plans across the full event lifecycle—pre‑event, during‑event, and post‑event. Operating as a senior individual contributor, this role acts as the connective tissue between Event Strategy, Product Marketing, Sales, Field Marketing, Communications, and Digital teams, ensuring message clarity, channel orchestration, and measurable business impact at global scale.

Responsibilities
Events Integrated Marketing Strategy (AI Tour)
- Own the end‑to‑end integrated marketing strategy for the AI Tour series, aligning global event objectives to priority GTM motions, audience segments, and regional business needs.
- Translate AI narrative, product priorities, and event goals into clear value propositions, messaging frameworks, and customer journeys across channels.
- Partner closely with Event Strategy, Product Marketing, and Field leaders to balance global consistency with local relevance across markets.
Pre‑Event Demand & Audience Acquisition
- Drive qualified registrations and audience mix through integrated use of email, web, paid media, social, partner, and field channels.
- Lead planning and readiness activities including integrated marketing briefs, workbacks, dependencies, and launch milestones.
- Ensure alignment on targeting, CTAs, and measurement strategy to optimize pre‑event performance across regions and cities.
During‑Event Marketing & Live Amplification
- Lead day‑of integrated marketing activation across owned and shared channels to amplify key announcements, sessions, speakers, and live moments.
- Coordinate closely with Events, Social, and Communications teams to ensure real‑time message consistency and engagement during live experiences.
- Capture and synthesize live performance signals (engagement, content interaction, session interest) to inform immediate and downstream actions.
Post‑Event Nurture, Sales Enablement & Impact
- Own post‑event customer communications including thank‑you messaging, surveys, and follow‑up campaigns aligned to attendee behavior and intent.
- Partner with Sales, Field Marketing, and GTM teams to activate nurture and seller follow‑up plays that extend AI Tour value beyond the event.
- Lead post‑event analysis and reporting to demonstrate impact, inform optimization, and shape future AI Tour strategy and investment decisions.
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Serve as a senior IC and strategic thought partner, influencing without authority across complex, cross‑org stakeholder groups.
- Drive disciplined execution through clear operating rhythms, stakeholder communications, and performance reviews.
- Contribute to standardization, playbooks, and best practices that enable scale and repeatability across the AI Tour series.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in integrated marketing, large event marketing management, demand generation, or digital marketing.
- 2+ years of experience using performance insights to optimize customer journeys and demonstrate ROI.
Integrated Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
