Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers Microsoft’s cloud services. The team is responsible for designing, building, and operating our unified global datacenters; managing the demand planning and capacity utilization of our unified infrastructure; and for operating the physical infrastructure (including supply chain, hardware, power, security, and workflow teams). We focus on smart growth with an emphasis on automation, data driven engineering, cost-effectiveness, and environmental sustainability. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft’s over 200 online businesses including Azure, Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, and OneDrive. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 100 datacenters and 1 million servers. Our portfolio is built and managed by a team of subject matter experts working 24x7x365 to support services for more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses in over 90 countries worldwide.
The Security Engineering & Critical Infrastructure (SECI) team is focused on delivering security and critical environments technology services across the datacenter delivery and maintenance lifecycle. In this role you will drive technology outcomes by leading the end-to-end delivery of IT and critical environments infrastructure projects that improve security across our global portfolio. You will partner closely with your colleagues, engineering, and infrastructure teams, and key decision makers across CO+I to develop best in class network infrastructure for high security networks in datacenters and into space.

This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Redmond, WA, Atlanta, GA, San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, or Washington DC. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates should relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location. This role is hybrid work, 3 days / week in-office"
Responsibilities

- Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, finance, and business development to identify risks and opportunities.
- Develop strategies and execution plans to deliver against published Objective Key Results (OKRs).
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines for datacenter infrastructure projects.
- Be the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) between regional leadership and key stakeholder teams to communicate progress, challenges, risks, and opportunities.
- Continuously evaluate and refine existing processes and workflows to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Ability to think logically; excellent problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
- Industry standard certifications such PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-CP, PMI-RMP
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
