Overview

Microsoft 365 Copilot is powered by Work IQ, the intelligence layer that personalizes Copilot and agents to how work actually happens across an organization. Work IQ brings together secure enterprise data, contextual understanding, and skills & tools so Copilot can reason over work – not just retrieve information. At the foundation of this system is the Microsoft 365 knowledge platform, including SharePoint and OneDrive, which provide information-protected access to the content, signals, and metadata that ground AI in trusted organizational knowledge.

We’re hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing for custom AI skills within this Work IQ-powered ecosystem. Custom AI skills package organizational knowledge – such as standards, terminology, governance rules, and business logic – so Copilot and agents operate in ways that reflect how a specific organization works, rather than responding generically. This role will define how custom skills are positioned across Microsoft 365 apps, Copilot, and agent experiences, and how they relate to Work IQ, the knowledge platform, and Agent 365 management and governance. You will create clarity around core concepts – such as skills vs. custom agents, where skills live, and how they are managed – while ensuring the story stays grounded in product truth and enterprise trust. This is a strategic, cross-portfolio role for a marketer who excels at turning complex AI systems into clear, durable mental models for customers, IT, and the field.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.

  • Create high impact assets including core story decks, explainers, launch narratives, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), and field enablement, grounded in Work IQ and knowledge platform scenarios.
