Responsibilities
- Set vision and roadmap for PowerPoint Core across Windows and Mac, balancing fundamentals with scenario innovation grounded in our mission to empower every person and every organization to tell stories that drive decisions, inspire confidence, and impact change.
- Own the Copilot/agents surface (actions, object model, APIs, etc.) to ensure durable, testable integrations. The role operates at the intersection of enterprise-grade reliability, AI innovation and global scale
- Drive execution excellence—ship criteria, customer-driven quality gates, workbacks for executive reviews, and transparent status, working with an extremely capable and proven engineering team.
- Lead leaders—hire, grow, and coach PMs across Redmond and Silicon Valley; set standards for product craft and decision quality.
- Champion customers—run structured previews/councils, close the loop on signals, and represent PowerPoint with field and community.
- Grow NPS of the core product across all customer segments by shaping investments for the larger organization.
- Drive growth of the PowerPoint customer base by setting and achieving ambitious user acquisition and engagement targets.
- Champion a culture of innovation and operational excellence, inspiring teams to thrive in an AI-paced world.
- Own incident response and continuous improvement for desktop clients; prioritize performance, reliability, accessibility, security, and compliance.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12+ years in Product Management with 5+ years leading teams.
- Proven track record shipping large-scale client software.
- Demonstrated leadership across engineering/design/PM and in executive forums.
- Exposure to AI-assisted product experiences and agent/Copilot-style integrations.
- Depth in enterprise requirements (policy, governance, data protection, compatibility).
- Experience with measurable improvements to client performance, reliability, accessibility, and security at scale.
- Strength in customer programs, external evangelism, and crisp product narratives.
- Familiarity with Microsoft planning and quality rhythms (e.g., OKRs, ADO, ship gates).
Product Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
