We are seeking a self-motivated & deeply technical product manager to engage with customers on validation of Frontier AI Agents. You will be at the forefront of helping build and validate cutting-edge AI solutions, engaging customers to understand their technical and business needs, and driving the evolution of M365 Copilot and underlying infrastructure components like Copilot Connectors, MCPs, LLMs and APIs. Your technical & product expertise will ensure that our AI products exceed the shipping bar.

Microsoft 365 Copilot Customer & Partner Ecosystem (CAPE) Team is looking for a Senior Product Manager.

We collaborate with customers and strategic ISVs globally to drive innovation and deliver exceptional solutions. Our team also oversees the Microsoft Teams Product and Platform Ecosystem, which includes Collaborative Apps, Core, Calling, Meetings, and Copilot in Teams. Teams is one the most important interface for Copilot and we continue to invest in enhancing the Teams experience for over 300M users and empowering users with cutting-edge tools and features.

Responsibilities

1. Build a Scalable Validation System

  • Design and own a framework for customer validation of Frontier agents that scales horizontally to support expanding agent portfolios.
  • Reduce operational dependency on manual PM bandwidth by investing in tooling, automation, and customer segmentation strategies to scale pilots efficiently.

2. Customer Feedback & Feedback Plumbing

  • Develop reliable feedback loops that accelerate shipping decisions capturing telemetry, customer qualitative feedback, product-market metrics, and voice of customer signals across all agents.
  • Partner with internal CAPE VoC, CHEQ TPMs, data and engineering to operationalize these feedback loops, turning insights into actionable outcomes.

3. Agentic Opportunity Identification

  • Continuously assess Frontier program telemetry, market trends, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities where agentic AI can deliver customer value.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to build business cases that prioritize high-opportunity agents.

4. Cross-Functional Execution

  • Lead cross-org execution for customer pilot programs, adoption frameworks, and go-to-market readiness.
  • Partner with engineering, design, GTM, and support teams to ensure pilot goals, experiments, and outcomes are aligned with strategic objectives.

5. Executive Readouts & Reporting

  • Prepare and present monthly executive readouts covering key metrics such as adoption/usage, satisfaction, quality of experience, and product-market fit across all Frontier agents.
  • Drive visibility across leadership with clear, data-driven, and narrative-rich reporting.

6. Finance Vertical Ownership

  • Act as Product Manager for the Finance vertical — owning customer validation strategy, use case prioritization, success criteria, and adoption outcomes.

7. Governance & Customer Outcomes

  • Ensure customer pilots are governed according to enterprise risk, data protection, and compliance requirements.
  • Advise internal teams on how Frontier experiences (preview features) are positioned and communicated within customer environments.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
  • 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Product & Program Leadership
    • 5+ years in product management in SaaS / AI or enterprise software.
    • Proven ability to own complex, cross-functional programs from concept through execution.
  • Customer Validation Expert
    • Strong skills in running customer pilots, experiments, adoption analysis, and deriving product insights.
    • Experience designing scale-oriented validation programs, frameworks, and metrics.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven
    • Fluency with product metrics including adoption, usage, satisfaction (NPS/CSAT), retention, and product-market fit indicators.
    • Experience conveying insights through dashboards and executive presentations.
  • Cross-Functional Influence
    • Comfortable working with engineering, GTM, support, compliance, and leadership teams.
    • Capable of navigating ambiguity in early-access / preview programs.
    • Strong negotiation skills and ability to find common grounds quickly to make progress.
  • Strategic Thinker & Doer
    • Can translate high-level strategy into executable programs, then operationalize them across teams.
    • Strong prioritization skills with a focus on customer impact.
  • Passion for AI
    • Deep interest in AI and its potential to transform business workflows.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
