Microsoft Asia is one of the 3 regions of Microsoft Commercial Business and covers 6 Areas: ANZ, India, Greater China Region, Japan, ASEAN, and Korea. All 6 areas of Asia have been a key enabler of the market IT growth through solid partnership with Governments, Enterprise, Small and Medium Corporates, as well as IT partners and consumer partners of the region. Microsoft Finance is a truly global finance team, and and you will be part of the WW FC Community and representing Asia to make each other great and build on each other.
The Asia Regional Field Intelligience OneServices Controller leads financial insights, performance management, and executive storytelling across the 6 Areas for Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD), partnering closely with Areas ISD teams.
The Controller is responsible for end to end financial stewardship of the Industry Solutions Delivery business across all 6 Areas. This role partners closely with ISD Delivery Leadership to ensure financial compliance, disciplined execution, accurate forecasting, and strong cost and investment governance across consulting and delivery motions.
In addition, the role plays the Asia Region community lead role in Unified Support to ensures alignment on budget, forecast, and performance outcomes, and connects Area, Regional, and WW Finance & Business leadership.

Responsibilities
People: The Asia FI OneService Controller is an experienced professional within the Asia Finance community and is expected to contribute to the thought leadership of the community.
• Own ISD Revenue controllership, including actuals, forecast, budget, and variance analysis for all 6 areas in Asia
• Own the Regional field intelligence on Unified Support, partnering with the 6 Area Controllers
Partnership:
a) ISD: Partner with Area ISD Leadership to drive performance transparency and decision making
• Lead monthly and quarterly financial close processes for ISD
• Provide clear executive level financial storytelling for ISD performance
b) Support: Act as the connective tissue between Area, Region, and WW Finance communities
• Provide financial insights at the regional level and independent assessment of Areas Unified Performance
• Support Microsoft Big Bets and strategic priorities with data driven insights
• Collaborates on improvements through automation. Applies understanding of advanced technology to accomplish business goals and to provide greater depth of analysis.
Prioritisation: Works directly with business partners to translate top-down targets to an accountable budget for each group.
• Completes and reviews analysis, modelling, and research to support preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles.
• Partners and solicits insight from business and commercial stakeholders. Manages financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Delivers results through tracking performance, reporting accuracy, and partnering with business leaders to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results.
• Helps to ensure the accurate and timely rhythm of business reporting including key performance indicators (KPIs), monthly close, and budgeting. Generates relevant and actionable insights to drive the business forward.
• Acts as subject matter expert for data management and operations.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate Financial Analysis, Accounting, Controllership or Finance work experience
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
• +2-3 year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
• +2-3 year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
• +2-3 year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
• Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountants (CA) or equivalent certification.
