We are on a journey to enable developer friendly, mission-critical, AI enabled operational Databases across relational, non-relational and OSS offerings.

Cosmos is Microsoft’s big data analytics SaaS service providing compute and storage capabilities to power mission critical workloads for businesses at Microsoft. It is the central repository where Microsoft teams ingest, store, process, query, and share structured and unstructured data at scale. Cosmos is only available to 1P customers and is run as a shared, multi-tenant service optimized for big data analytics. Cosmos is not just a big data platform but a complete ecosystem of tools and solutions that have been developed by the customer community.
