Services Finance Lead - Europe South & MEA

This role will act as the Finance Lead for the Services Org within Microsoft's Customer and Partner Solutions Organization (MCAPS) working across the Europe South and Middle East & Africa Operating Units which are distinctively managed as two Areas. This role requires extensive business partnership across two area leadership and finance teams. This is a highly dynamic environment supporting our largest Enterprise Customers and driving AI Services both through the Support and Consulting business and a focus on driving growth in our Azure commercial agreements.

Responsibilities
- The Finance Lead consults with business leaders on implications of results and operating revenue and expenses.
- Provides guidance to achieving objectives and maximizing return-on-investment. Works directly with business partners to translate top-down targets to an accountable budget for each group.
- Delivers results through tracking performance, reporting accuracy, and partnering with business leaders to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results.
- Conceptualizes and designs new approaches and metrics to how relevant financial data is collected and evaluated to impact future outcomes and decisions.
- Shares business insights and advances solutions and action plans to drive business and commercial leader goals and short-term accountabilities.
- Applies understanding of the broader Microsoft context to offer solutions to ensure organizational objectives are met.
- Collaborates on improvements through automation. Understands the interconnections between data, information, and results and translates this into forward- looking narratives and forecasts.
- Develops and leverages relationships with business partners to bolster sales, and to understand and manage business risk.
- Drives the right tone from executive leadership and ensures strict adherence and understanding of Microsoft policies on risk and compliance.
- Monitors comprehensive system of accounting policies, procedures, and controls that span all operations that impact the Services organization and revenue recognition.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree/Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND significant experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
- OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to work at the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the technology or software industry.
- Experience in matrix-based organization.
- Experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
