The OneDrive Photos & Mobile team is responsible for delighting our customers and driving business growth for our mobile apps and photos experiences across consumers, small business users, and enterprises. We’re seeking a Principal Product Manager to help lead the next chapter for us by driving the strategy, execution, and delivery of features that deliver impact. The role is ideal for a product manager who thrives in a highly collaborative, AI first, data driven, fast paced environment, and is energized by being at the intersection of AI, customer engagement, and large-scale platforms. You’ll help us reimagine how people reconnect with their memories and accelerate their productivity – experiences powered by AI, grounded in trust, and seamlessly integrated across the Microsoft ecosystem.

Responsibilities
- Define multi-year product vision and strategy along with key OKRs for how users rediscover, share, and get things done with their photos.
- Lead multiple cross functional teams (engineering, design, research, data and applied science, marketing, etc) to ship and iterate on high quality AI features that drive measurable impact.
- Partner closely and influence teams across the company to drive decisions and bring the latest in AI/ML technologies to life in a cost-efficient, customer focused, privacy-first way.
- Go deep into new technical areas quickly, drive platform decisions, and provide clarity on tradeoffs and requirements.
- Mentor PMs and champion best practices to drive an AI-first, collaborative, inclusive, customer obsessed, and data driven culture.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years’ experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years’ experience in product management OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years’ experience of shipping and iterating on user facing features that drove measurable customer and business impact.
- Hands-on experience building or integrating AI/LLM powered user features, including defining and driving requirements and evaluations that ensure quality, safety, and performance, and an understanding of model behaviors in real world scenarios.
- Experience using AI tools to shorten the product lifecycle.
- Solid technical and product judgment to drive decisions for complex, strategic areas.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across engineering, design, data science, and cross-company partners to deliver cohesive, high-quality product experiences.
Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
