How can we better meet the needs of our biggest fans and tell meaningful stories that showcase the experiences that will help them most? We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager, Windows Fans & Insider Program, who will leverage data to deeply understand the Windows customer experience and support the team in developing marketing narratives and programs that increase Windows Insider and fans’ engagement, satisfaction, and brand love. We are seeking an individual with customer obsession, deep curiosity, ability to build close internal and external partnerships and is passionate about storytelling grounded in data. You are passionate about technology and technical enough to be able to communicate effectively with a technical audience. Responsibilities
Partner across multiple orgs to bring a reimagined customer journey to life and support go-to-market initiatives to grow the Windows Insider program. - Drive market research to understand Insider and fan needs and partner with Product Management/ Engineering to shape the roadmap and feature prioritization based on those insights - Deep understanding of the customer life cycle end-to-end, from awareness to conversion. - Define Windows experiences that delight our customers and showcase the best of Microsoft. - Ideate and trial methods to rapidly identify opportunities to be more agile in the go-to-market execution of the Windows lifecycle. - Leverage market intelligence, customer insights, and product data to identify opportunities and define strategies for customer usage, adoption, and retention. - Collect, analyze and report product and performance metrics against established Objectives and Key Results and business outcomes. Derive insights and develop growth strategies to fill gaps.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years professional experience in Product Management, go-to-market execution, business planning, multi-channel acquisition (owned & operated, digital, paid media) marketing strategy, or equivalent experience. - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with partners in a highly matrixed organization. - Ability to take charge and lead. - Demonstrated track record of thinking out of the box and successfully applying technology towards solving a product, want or need. - Experience with emerging businesses, launching ventures, or startups a plus. - Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate ideas articulately - Proven ability to quickly pivot to solve complex problems - Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) is preferred. Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
