The Senior Finance Manager, Studios Expense Lead on our 1P (First Party) Studios Finance team will play a central role in supporting our 1P studios by becoming a subject matter specialist on studio expenses, partnering with our accounting and royalties teams to ensure accuracy and alignment, and collaborating with studios on forecast optimal practices. As our 1P expense lead, you will focus on optimizing our gross margin and accountability margin, as well as lead the centralized work of allocating our central expenses and managing the balance sheet. This role will engage in extensive cross group collaboration across our team of 1P finance controllers and accounting, marketing, and other finance teams to drive margin growth and P&L (Profit & Loss) optimization.

Responsibilities
- Partner with a broad set of teams to drive insight and analytics into the key drivers of the 1P Gaming business and be an integral part of the Gaming Finance team.
- Develop subject matter specialty in studio expenses, maintaining high-quality reporting standards and driving forecast accuracy across the studios’ portfolio.
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to leaders, enabling data‑driven solutions that support critical strategic initiatives and optimize ROI (Return on Investment).
- Primary point of contact for the 1P central expenses, working with engineering, accounting, and marketing in setting up proper allocations of central costs to our 1P Gaming studios and running periodic reviews of our balance sheet.
- Design new approaches to collecting and evaluating financial data, and creating additional value by translating data into actionable insights and implementing creative ways to communicate findings from data.
- Orchestrate the comprehensive system of accounting policies, procedures, and controls, as well as maintain accountability for internal control processes and procedures.
- Drive compliance and controllership objectives through partnerships, and mitigate emerging statutory, tax, regulatory, and fiduciary risks.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
- 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
- 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity or experience with core Microsoft financial analysis and reporting processes and tools is highly valued.
- Ability to develop trusted partnerships with business leaders and other stakeholders.
- Able to handle a high degree of ambiguity and quickly identify what needs to be accomplished across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Ability to influence others without direct authority and appropriately push back when required.

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
