As an Account Executive (AE) in Microsoft Advertising, you will enable Microsoft to better serve strategic customers in the Travel industry by applying customer obsession to what clients care about and need, ensuring our Microsoft Advertising story is valued and understood, and acting to build successful, long-term relationships. You will develop and maintain solid customer relationships anchored on connections with C-level executives and Business and Technical Decision Makers in customers’ organizations. You will also develop quality customer plans, laying out revenue and growth strategies for customer satisfaction. Your success is measured by specific success indicators focused on driving adoption, emphasizing customer experience and optimizing opportunities. This opportunity will allow you to execute with excellence to drive client success and business, as well as drive both revenue and customer satisfaction across MSA’s performance solutions, while developing deep business acumen and honing your selling skills.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.



Responsibilities
  • You will develop, lead, and execute MSA sales strategy and priorities to enable client growth of both existing and new products. You will purposefully position outcomes within the context of the client’s digital marketing journey from current to future state.
  • You will work to influence CMO and Chief Digital Marketing Stakeholders through Relationship Building as a compelling storyteller, leading with emotional intelligence, communicating with confidence and by effectively listening to identify clients’ end to end needs.
  • You will lead Sales planning with the Account v-team including achieving sales targets and increasing existing budgets while also opening new share of wallet opportunities with Audience ads and other incubations products and ensure shared accountability for sales targets with the v-team. You will work in partnership with v-team to bring the best resources to ensure deal success.
  • You will expand clients' view of the importance of MSA products and concede negotiables in an order that ensures both parties feel they are winning. You will effectively maintain good working relationships with those involved in negotiation; persuading others without using manipulation and maintaining a positive atmosphere during difficult objections and negotiations.
  • You will lead the update of pipeline reviewing top new opportunities, identifying roadblocks, and ensures the right resources are engaged to overcome client objections.
  • You will execute sales per expectations against pipeline, new client, and opportunity management goals per the MSA Solution Selling process for new deals, driving for client verifiable outcomes at each stage.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 8+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 5+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
    • OR 9+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 12+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 10+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience making recommendations to mid- to senior- level executives.
  • Travel industry experience.

Advertising Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
