As a Senior Client Director in Microsoft Advertising, you will enable Microsoft to serve our most valued Enterprise & Strategic Advertisers by applying obsession with what clients care about and need, ensuring our Microsoft Advertising story is valued and understood, and building and maintaining solid and long term trusted-advisor relationships.
You will drive both revenue and client satisfaction across MSA’s performance solutions anchored on connections with C-level executives and Business and Technical Decision Makers in clients’ organizations. You will also develop quality customer plans, laying out revenue and growth strategies for client satisfaction. Your success is measured by specific success indicators focused on driving adoption, emphasizing customer experience and optimizing opportunities. Responsibilities
- You will develop, lead and execute MSA France sales strategy & priorities to enable your advertisers’ growth while partnering with internal partner teams, including Client Solutions Manager and specialist teams, to develop and execute MSA account plans, leveraging winning sales strategies replicated across clients and client types. Purposefully positions outcomes within the context of the advertisers digital marketing journey from current to future state.
- You will learn about the advertisers’ business drivers, compelling events, seasonality of business to identify opportunities to optimize consumption and partner with the Client Solutions Manager in development of account plans for the client. Goals focus on Search, Audience Ads, enriched by the full spectrum of Microsoft Advertising offerings such as Gaming, Video, and beyond, as well as cross Microsoft opportunities and share accountability with the team.
- You will work to influence CMO and Chief Digital Marketing Stakeholders through Relationship Building as a compelling storyteller, leading with emotional intelligence, communicating with confidence and by effectively listening to identify advertisers’ end to end needs by sharing data insights and product demonstrations, bringing to life how MSA can increase business results.
- You will lead Sales planning with the Account v-team including achieving sales targets and increasing existing budgets while also opening new share of wallet opportunities with Audience ads and other Microsoft advertising products and ensure shared accountability for sales targets with the account team.
- You will expand the client's view of the importance of MSA products and concede negotiables while maintaining a positive approach during difficult objections & negotiations. Effectively manages good working relationships with those involved in negotiation; persuading others without using manipulation and maintaining a positive atmosphere during difficult objections & negotiations.
- You will lead the update of pipeline reviewing of top opportunities, identifying roadblocks, and ensures the right resources are engaged to overcome client objections.
- You will execute sales per expectations against pipeline, new client, and opportunity management goals per the MSA Solution Selling process for new deals, driving for advertisers’ verifiable outcomes at each stage.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 10+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
- OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 8+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising OR 12+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience making recommendations to mid- to senior-level executives.
