The Partner Solution Architect (PSA) – Digital Apps & Innovation is a senior, partner‑facing technical role responsible for enabling Microsoft partners to design, modernize, and deliver cloud‑native and AI‑enabled applications on Microsoft Azure across Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (CEMA).
This role combines deep application architecture expertise with strong partner influence. The PSA works across diverse and fast‑growing markets, helping partners modernize application estates, adopt cloud‑native and platform engineering practices, and build AI‑infused applications that drive measurable customer outcomes and Azure consumption.
As a Partner Solution Architect, you will guide the development of business solutions, provide deep technical insights, and accelerate Microsoft Digital Apps & Innovation priorities within the partner ecosystem. You will help partners translate customer business challenges into secure, scalable, and innovative application solutions, working closely with partner technical teams, sales stakeholders, and Microsoft engineering to accelerate partner capability, solution quality, and innovation.

Responsibilities
Partner Technical Strategy & Architecture
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to strategic and high‑growth partners across CEMA, spanning mature, emerging, and developing cloud markets, delivering modern application solutions on Azure.
- Adapt architectural guidance to regional customer needs, regulatory considerations, and varying levels of cloud and application maturity.
- Guide end‑to‑end application architecture across web, mobile, and backend services, including cloud‑native, microservices, and event‑driven patterns.
- Support partners in aligning their application roadmaps with Microsoft Digital Apps & Innovation priorities, including application modernization, developer productivity, platform engineering, and AI‑enabled apps.
Solution Development & Enablement
- Support the design and validation of partner solutions using:
- Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), containers, and serverless technologies
- Application integration with API Management, messaging, and event‑driven architectures
- DevOps and platform engineering practices leveraging GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
- AI‑enabled application scenarios using Azure AI Services and Azure OpenAI
- Lead architecture reviews, technical deep dives, whiteboarding sessions, and proof‑of‑concept or MVP engagements.
- Ensure partner solutions follow Microsoft best practices for performance, scalability, security, reliability, and cost optimization using the Well‑Architected Framework.
Sales & Customer Engagement Support
- Provide architectural guidance for complex, high‑impact partner‑led customer engagements.
- Help partners overcome technical blockers and refine application designs to meet customer and business requirements.
- Translate technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non‑technical audiences, including improved developer velocity, faster time‑to‑market, and resilient platforms.
Thought Leadership & Collaboration
- Represent Microsoft as a Digital Apps & Innovation technical leader in partner briefings, workshops, and enablement sessions.
- Collaborate with Microsoft sales, partner, and engineering teams to share insights and continuously improve partner solutions.
- Contribute to reusable technical guidance, reference architectures, patterns, and best practices across the partner ecosystem.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND proven experience in application development, solution architecture, cloud consulting, or technical consulting OR
- Master’s Degree in a related field AND demonstrated experience in technical consulting, solution design, or technical pre‑sales OR
Equivalent industry experience.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience designing or architecting modern application solutions on cloud platforms.
- Hands‑on or architectural knowledge of:
- Cloud‑native application platforms (App Service, AKS, containers, serverless)
- Application integration and APIs
- DevOps, CI/CD, and developer productivity tooling (GitHub)
- Application security, resiliency, observability, and governance
- Solid understanding of cloud‑native design patterns, microservices, and platform engineering concepts.
Partner & Consulting Experience
- Experience working with technology partners, system integrators, ISVs, or consulting organizations.
- Ability to influence and guide technical teams without direct authority in complex partner ecosystems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including whiteboarding and technical storytelling.
Professional Background
- Background in roles such as Solution Architect, Application Architect, DevOps Architect, or Technical Consultant.
- Experience supporting pre‑sales engagements, solution design, or partner enablement is highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications related to Azure Application Development, DevOps, or AI.
- Experience delivering or supporting customer‑facing, partner‑led application modernization projects.
- Familiarity with platform engineering, DevSecOps, and AI‑powered application scenarios.
- Passion for technical mentorship, innovation, and continuous learning.
