Responsibilities
- Independently uses appropriate artificial intelligence tools and practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Works with appropriate internal stakeholders to understand customer/user requirements for a set of features.
- Reviews product feature code to ensure it contains the correct test coverage and follows team standards. Implements debugging tools, tests, logs, and telemetry to verify assumptions.
- Creates extensible and maintainable product feature code for minimal defects. Strives for automation within production deployment aiming for zero-touch when possible.
- Applies and reviews coding patterns, security risks, and compliance issues in code reviews. Applies security best practices to achieve security hardening across product features.
Qualifications
- Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 3+ years of experience building secure, high performant distributed software systems, with applied knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices
- 3+ years of experience of building security and compliance solutions or security engineering including building tooling to investigate and scan for vulnerabilities and exploits in large systems
