Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution for 3rd Party Retail and OEM channels within the Microsoft 365 Consumer business. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and adoption of Microsoft 365 Consumer and Microsoft Office SKU’s through Retail and OEM partners by developing impactful go-to-market strategies, driving an investment strategy, and executing that strategy to deliver results. You will analyze market trends, identify key opportunities, and work closely with partners to deliver compelling value propositions that resonate with consumers and accelerate business outcomes. As the key liaison between Microsoft and our Retail and OEM partners, you will collaborate cross-functionally with GTM, Product Management, Business Planning, and Finance teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution of channel initiatives. Your responsibilities will include managing joint marketing plans, optimizing in-store and digital retail experiences, and ensuring that our messaging is consistent and effective across all touchpoints. Leveraging data-driven insights, you will track performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize impact and return on investment. Your ability to collaborate and influence across functions will be critical to your success. Additionally, you will have the chance to leverage cutting-edge marketing tools and AI technologies to enhance our marketing efforts and stay ahead of industry trends. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in consumer marketing, channel management, and partner engagement, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and deliver business growth. Physical and digital Retail experience is a plus, as is consumer subscription lifecycle management experience. You should have a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovation. Responsibilities

Product Marketing & Business Performance: Independently collect, analyze, and report on performance metrics (e.g., Key Performance (KPIs)) to derive deep insights that change or improve Go-to-Market plans, tactics, and outcomes. Go To Market: Collaborate with others to identify target customers and define and execute the strategy for the end-to-end customer journey. Demonstrate an understanding of how to define success criteria and performance metrics, such as Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and track performance against success metrics. Cross-Functional Orchestration: Develop partnerships (e.g., Marketing, PM, Business Planning) to lead and deliver differentiated customer value and company growth while understanding cross-functional accountabilities. Build knowledge of initiatives and programs across teams to improve and meet organizational goals. Customer Advocate: Propose new and leverage existing customer listening systems (e.g., feedback from the field, in product telemetry, etc.) to address challenges, improve experiences, and remove sales blockers/product inhibitors. Investment Optimization: Align on investment strategy across corporate sales org, regional sales leads, finance, business planning, GTM, and 3P partners to maximize ROI on OPEX and program spend to drive subscriber and LTV growth for Microsoft. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex information effectively to marketing and engineering stakeholders and leaders within the company. Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor products to inform product positioning and marketing strategies. Other: Embody our culture and values



Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs) Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications (PQs) Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.



Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
