As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will:

  • Define Product Vision & Strategy: Articulate and drive a clear product vision and roadmap for mission-critical data center operational tools and platforms that improve reliability, automation, and operational efficiency at scale.
  • Drive Product Lifecycle: Lead full product lifecycle from discovery and requirements gathering through delivery, iteration, and retirement, ensuring alignment with CO+I and broader cloud strategic goals.
  • Deep Domain Expertise: Apply strong technical and operational knowledge in data center environments, including capacity operations, monitoring, maintenance tooling, and telemetry systems, to inform product prioritization and design.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, data science, operations, reliability engineering, and leadership to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality products.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Engage internal stakeholders and operational teams globally to surface needs, validate hypotheses, and ensure successful adoption and impact of product investments.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Establish success metrics, analyze telemetry and KPIs, drive product optimizations, and make decisions based on data, operational insights, and customer feedback.
  • Technical Advocacy: Serve as a technical advocate for your products — representing vision, priorities, and outcomes to engineering teams and senior leadership.



Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience, or 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in cloud infrastructure, data center operations, or related technical domains.
  • Experience defining products that support automation, observability, reliability, or operational excellence at scale.
  • Familiarity with internal operational platforms, or comparable hyperscale cloud environments.
  • Proven ability to leverage operational data and telemetry to prioritize product decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Passion for customer obsession, inclusive teamwork, and building tools that elevate operational efficiency.

Background Check Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
