Overview

Are you ready to shape the future of AI, PC performance, power efficiency, and silicon innovation? The Windows & Devices (W+D) organization is at the forefront of transforming the Windows ecosystem for the AI era—and we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the next generation of AI fundamentals that make Windows the most performant, energy‑efficient, reliable, and trustworthy AI platform in the world.

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll sit at the strategic intersection of AI, silicon, and system fundamentals. You will define the fundamentals strategy for AI workloads across diverse hardware configurations, partner deeply with engineering and silicon teams, and build the tools, telemetry, and data pipelines that illuminate model behavior, system impact, and user experience. Your work will directly influence how AI experiences are built, measured, optimized, and delivered at global scale.

This Senior Product Manager role is part of the Windows Fundamentals team—whose mission is to uphold a high, principled bar for Windows quality and to ensure that every marquee experience ships with exceptional performance, efficiency, and reliability. We take a data‑driven approach to product truth, invest in optics that reveal regressions before customers feel them, and drive cross‑company partnerships that keep Windows competitive and best‑in‑class. You’ll help us continue this legacy by shaping the AI fundamentals that power the future of Windows across OEMs, IHVs, and the broader ecosystem.

  • Communication and influence: Able to conduct insightful conversations with senior business and technical decision makers inside and outside Microsoft. Communicate complex ideas to others in a clear, effective, and motivating manner.
