We are looking for an AI‑Forward Product Manager II to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of AI-native platform capabilities across Microsoft 365 Core. The ideal candidate is passionate about building secure, scalable, enterprise-grade experiences and has the curiosity and drive to push AI‑first thinking across product development.
This role partners deeply with engineering, design, data science, and field teams to deliver modern, intelligent, enterprise-ready capabilities for Microsoft 365’s most demanding customers—including high‑compliance and regulated environments.

Responsibilities
Own Customer Problems & Platform Strategy
- Identify enterprise customer pain points and high‑compliance scenarios; translate them into product direction, capabilities, and roadmaps.
Drive AI‑Native Product Innovation
- Shift from static specs to rapid experimentation and model‑first workflows (prototyping with LLMs/agents, prompt/workflow design).
- Build Copilot‑style experiences grounded in real customer scenarios with measurable outcomes.
Trust, Security & Compliance by Design
- Partner with Security, Privacy, Compliance, Governance, and Legal to embed controls, auditability, and enterprise‑grade assurances into product experiences.
- Ensure features meet global regulatory expectations and enterprise readiness.
Cross‑Functional Execution
- Align engineering, design, data science, PMs, and field teams on customer scenarios; orchestrate decisions and land commitments.
- Scale enablement, documentation, and knowledge‑sharing with AI tooling.
Evals & Experimentation Ownership
- Define success metrics across product, ML, safety, and experience quality (e.g., task success, latency, cost, satisfaction, safety compliance).
- Build an evaluation program:
- Offline evals: golden sets, curated test suites, synthetic data, prompt/unit tests, regression gates, safety/RAI tests.
- Online evals: A/B tests, holdouts, feature flags, interleaving; monitor impact on KPIs and guardrails.
- Human‑in‑the‑loop: expert reviews, labeling protocols, calibration, rubric design.
- Safety/Responsible AI: red‑teaming, jailbreak/abuse tests, policy adherence, harmful content checks, privacy constraints.
- Stand up an eval harness: automate pipelines, CI/CD gates, dashboards; track weekly quality trends and release readiness.
- Partner with DS/Eng to instrument telemetry, ensure observability, and drive root‑cause analyses of regressions.
- Publish Experiment PRDs detailing hypotheses, metrics, MDE, power, ramp criteria, and rollback plans; enforce go/no‑go standards.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years working in security/compliance or AI/ML‑powered product areas.
- Proven experience in multiple software product development methodologies.
- Effective cross-group collaboration skills with a proven ability to drive results in cross-functional teams.
Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
