Responsibilities
- Learns core computer science concepts.
- Gains hands-on project experience under the guidance of Microsoft employees.
- Develops an understanding of Microsoft’s history, culture, and technologies.
- Practices career readiness skills.
- Receives mentorship from Microsoft employees.
Qualifications
- At least 16 years old at time of internship.
- Available to work full-time onsite for four consecutive weeks (July 13-August 7, 2026).
- High school senior graduating from high school prior to program start date and enrolling in a bachelor's degree program in fall 2026.
- Live and/or attend high school within 50 miles of Redmond, Washington.
- Completed pre-calculus, an equivalent, or 3 consecutive years of math by the start of the program.
- Member of or participant in one of the following Microsoft-sponsored organizations:
- College Success Foundation
- Computing for All
- Rainier Scholars
- Technology Access Foundation
- UW Math Science Upward Bound (UW STEMsub)
- Washington MESA
- List of any colleges/universities to which you have applied and/or been accepted.
- Intended major(s).
- Please share if you are a member of or affiliated with any Microsoft-sponsored extracurricular and/or academic support organization(s) and provide 1-2 sentences about your involvement.
This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
