Overview

Join Microsoft’s E+D Growth team as a Technical Program Manager II (TPMII) helping drive the next wave of growth for M365 Copilot and subscription services. In this role, you will support Product-Led Growth (PLG) initiatives, contribute to measurement frameworks, and partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and business teams to deliver AI-powered experiences at scale. You will help define customer- and business-impacting opportunities, coordinate cross-functional execution, and ensure high-quality delivery across Copilot agent scenarios.

We work closely with design, research, marketing, and data science to build deep customer understanding and deliver experiences used by hundreds of millions of people. Responsibilities
  • Support PLG Measurement & Insights:
    Contribute to building and improving funnels and metrics for Copilot agent growth, activation, conversion, engagement, retention, and store performance.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Execution:
    Coordinate workstreams for agent discovery, creation, sharing, and store engagement initiatives in partnership with engineering and product teams.
  • Define Success Criteria:
    Partner with senior TPMs and product leaders to establish KPIs and track progress against organizational goals.
  • Operational Program Management:
    Manage schedules, risks, dependencies, and communication across teams to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery.
  • Promote Inclusive Team Culture:
    Foster collaboration, clear communication, and a growth mindset across project teams.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Experience driving cross-functional projects in enterprise or large-scale technology environments
  • Understanding of backend systems/services or commerce platforms
  • Familiarity with PLG concepts, experimentation, and metrics
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity, manage change, and bring clarity to complex scenarios

Preferred Qualifcations:

  • 3–5+ years of technical program management or related experience
  • Experience with AI-powered systems or agent architectures
  • Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills with comfort working with data
  • Ability to build strong relationships across engineering, design, and business teams
  • Growth mindset, customer focus, and ability to deliver results in a fast‑moving environment

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
