Within CO+I, we are looking to fill the critical role of Director of Supply Planning for EMEA, based in Dublin or London. This role will be responsible for establishing and executing regional datacenter supply plans to support our rapidly scaling data center infrastructure across the EMEA region, which supports the full spectrum of Microsoft products and services including Azure, Office365, Exchange, and many more. Supply Planning sits at the nexus of multiple teams which come together to deliver data center supply starting with the demand signal and ending with physical data center infrastructure in production ready state.

This critically important role will lead a team responsible for delivering capacity plans that balance cost, lead time, and risk in accordance with supply chain management best practices. The Director will be responsible for coordinating plans across acquisition, engineering, execution and finance teams to evaluate and recommend potential solutions to long-term regional constraints. The solutions developed by this leader and their team will be delivered to executives through a S&OP process that demands the ability to develop robust analysis and documentation, communicate effectively, and drive organizational alignment.

Managing complex programs, the ability to create clarity, generate energy, and deliver success through teamwork and people management are critical for this role.



Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of supply planners responsible for EMEA datacenter supply planning, capacity optimization, and inventory strategy execution, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth mindset.
  • Establish and maintain executable datacenter supply plans for the EMEA region that balance capacity availability, cost efficiency, lead time optimization, and risk management, while aligning with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with demand planning, acquisition, execution, engineering, and finance teams to ensure alignment on supply strategies, capacity delivery timelines, and integrated planning approaches.
  • Drive strategic and long-term planning initiatives to address capacity constraints, including scenario modeling, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Implement a regional cadence to monitor progress, identify risks and opportunities, and drive continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
  • Develop and manage key performance metrics and success outcomes for supply planning operations, ensuring clarity and transparency across all stakeholders.
  • Design and implement scalable supply planning solutions, including tools, analytics capabilities, and process improvements.
  • Present complex supply planning analysis, recommendations, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.


Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field OR Equivalent Experience
  • Extensive experience within supply planning, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, Sales & Operations Planning, quantitative & qualitative analysis in cross functional or organizational enterprise environment, or related experience
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed environment with cross-functional stakeholders across business, operations, engineering, and finance teams
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and performance improvements
  • Extensive people management experience, including leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver results under tight timelines, and navigate ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, or capacity planning
  • Experience in datacenter, infrastructure, or technology supply chain planning at scale

  • Background in developing and implementing transformational supply chain programs and process improvements
  • Experience with supply chain planning systems, analytics tools, and business intelligence platforms
  • Ability to effectively facilitate change cross-functionally and across geographies
