Responsibilities

Coding & Development: Write clean, maintainable, and secure code for product features. Apply best practices, patterns, and leverage modern tools (including AI) for efficiency. Participate in timely code reviews to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance. Design & Architecture: Collaborate on feature design and architecture decisions. Contribute to design documents and ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards. Testing & Quality: Develop and execute test strategies, including unit and security tests. Improve test coverage and automation to maintain high product quality. Engineering Excellence: Implement deployment automation, monitor live-site health, and follow secure design principles. Drive improvements in tools and processes for better developer productivity. Reliability & Support: Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot live-site issues, and enhance telemetry and monitoring for system reliability. Collaboration & Planning: Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, break down work items, and deliver features safely and efficiently. Continuous Learning: Stay current with technology trends, security practices, and compliance standards. Share knowledge and contribute to team growth



Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with 5+ years of software engineering experience. Proven ability in coding, debugging, design, testing, and problem-solving. Hands-on experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework, RESTful web services, and messaging systems. Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and workflows. Experience with Azure services (AKS, Function Apps, App Services) and familiarity with Azure security best practices. Skilled in DevOps practices, Agile development methodologies, and committed to live-site reliability and culture.
