Overview


The Microsoft Edge browser team is hiring a Product Manager II to own personal information and payment autofill experiences across all platforms. As the default browser for over 1.5 billion Windows devices, Edge is Microsoft's most-used consumer product—and your work will directly impact how millions of people access the web every day.

Whether booking a flight, completing an application form, or checking out at an online store, users fill millions of forms across the web daily. Our team is responsible for making form-filling faster, easier, and secure across Desktop and Mobile platforms—saving users time while protecting their personal and payment data with world-class encryption.

This role focuses on the personal information and payment aspects of autofill: addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, credit cards, and other form data that users repeatedly enter across the web. You'll balance user convenience with security requirements, design for diverse user needs, and ensure consistent experiences across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.



Responsibilities
  • Conduct user research and competitive analysis to identify pain points in form-filling workflows, translating insights into product requirements.
  • Partner with design to define end-to-end experiences that balance convenience, accuracy, and data security.
  • Write detailed specifications and collaborate with engineering teams to ship features across platforms.
  • Work with Edge feature teams, Marketing, and other Microsoft groups to create integrated experiences.
  • Design and execute experiments using Edge's data platform to validate hypotheses and optimize for engagement and adoption metrics.
  • Use telemetry, customer feedback, and market trends to define success metrics, identify gaps, and iterate on solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends in form standards, payment methods (digital wallets, buy-now-pay-later), and privacy regulations.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of product management experience shipping consumer-facing software products.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering teams on technical features and understand system constraints.
  • Solid communication skills with experience working across distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience building cross-platform applications or services used at scale (millions+ users).
  • Experience working in agile environments with customer-centric focus.
  • Ability to synthesize insights from qualitative research, quantitative data, and competitive analysis.
  • Solid storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for experience design with attention to detail and edge cases.
  • Interest in e-commerce, payments, privacy, or data security.
  • Track record of driving features from concept through launch.
