The Purview DLP Alerts team is responsible for building Microsoft’s unified, AI‑driven incident detection, investigation, and remediation capabilities that protect sensitive data across Microsoft 365, devices, cloud services, and multi‑cloud environments. As a Product Manager on this team, you will define and drive features that streamline end‑to‑end alert and incident workflows, partnering closely with engineering, design, and solution managers to translate complex technical requirements into clear, prioritized product backlogs. You will lead the day‑to‑day execution rhythm through sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and release alignment to ensure high‑quality, scalable, and analyst‑friendly experiences. You will collaborate with stakeholders across security, compliance, XDR, and field teams to validate requirements, balance trade‑offs, and shape roadmap decisions grounded in customer insights. This role also requires defining and tracking meaningful OKRs and KPIs—measuring reliability, performance, usage, and business impact—to guide data‑driven improvements and adoption of new AI capabilities. You will model a culture of accountability, curiosity, and collaboration, raising the bar for quality and user trust while driving continuous improvement in how organizations secure and govern their most sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Drive feature definition and execution Partner closely with engineering, design, customers, and solution managers to define product requirements, translate them into clear engineering specifications, and maintain a well‑prioritized backlog that reflects business goals.
• Lead day‑to‑day product execution Own sprint rhythms—including planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives—to ensure alignment on goals, unblock teams, and deliver consistently.
• Orchestrate schedules, dependencies, and releases Manage cross-team dependencies, sequencing, and release plans. Surface risks early, drive mitigations, and maintain clarity on timelines and trade-offs.
• Define and measure success Establish and track product OKRs/KPIs, using insights to monitor adoption, performance, and business impact—particularly for AI-powered capabilities.
• Champion customer and stakeholder alignment Engage with internal partners, field teams, and customers to validate requirements, gather insights, and refine scope. Balance customer value with technical feasibility through structured trade-off discussions.
• Ensure release readiness and adoption Drive launch planning, documentation, readiness reviews, and rollout activities to ensure smooth deployment and strong adoption of new features.
• Drive product quality through insights Analyze patterns across reliability, performance, and usage data to identify areas of improvement and guide prioritization.
• Model leadership and collaboration Demonstrate accountability, curiosity, and a learn‑it‑all mindset. Build trust across engineering, design, PM, research, and field teams while owning outcomes end-to-end.




Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 3+ years' experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
