- Defines specific product needs based on user insights/ ideates to define solutions to meet user needs.
- Creates and develops design concepts and specifications that optimize the emotional and functional experience of a product, software, device, or service.
- Focuses on end-to-end user experiences, empathizing and balancing experiences with business and technical tradeoffs.
- Produces visual designs from concept through delivery and sustainment, supports interaction designs for hardware and/or software-based experiences, and/or contributes to hardware product designs.

Responsibilities
1. Creates wireframes, journey maps, user jobs and scenarios, task flows, and personas in support of interaction designs using our design system under the direction of a senior team member.
2. Collaborates with key stakeholders to successfully align design solutions to business, technical, and user requirements.
3. Prototypes for new products as efficiently as possible, under the guidance of senior team members. Aligns prototype fidelity to each stage of the design process and present to teams and/or customers to receive feedback and understand user needs.
4. Assists in ideation meetings to improve product designs and generates ideas for a specific design element or goal. Takes part in ideation exercises as part of a design sprint.
5. Works with a senior team member to create a compelling narrative for a specific product or feature customer. Explores new and interesting ways of telling stories (e.g., video illustrations, sound).
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's/ Masters Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field.
Must have at least 1 semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship
You must be legally authorised to work in Ireland to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = Has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit)
Resume must include a link to design portfolio.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant internship or work experience in software companies or design agencies.
This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
