Within Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I), the Core Datacenter Services (CDS) team is responsible for delivering improving the overall availability and efficiency for Microsoft’s cloud business. We have multiple teams focused on both Microsoft and lessor datacenter performance, and all aspects of datacenter utilization effectiveness that includes power, water, and labor. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Solution Architect to join our Asset Inventory Management Systems (AIMS)A team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining a hybrid solution drives datacenter operations of electrical and mechanical equipment across Microsoft datacenters. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Microsoft technologies, data modeling, and datacenter operations systems. Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Architect integrated scalable systems that drive datacenter operations. Solutions should cover the lifecycle of electrical and mechanical equipment in a datacenter including plan, source, order, fulfill, transform, and return. - Data Integration: Exchange data across multiple services ensuring data accuracy, validity, reliability, and timeliness. Demonstrate expertise in data governance processing to ensure that the right data is at the right place at the right time. - Strategic Thinking: Demonstrate the ability to articulate value propositions for the most strategic Microsoft products and services and uses business, technology and industry strategies to define customer/partner requirements and constraints - Risk Management: Identify business and technical risks in programs, assesses their impact and proposes mitigations and contingencies - Stakeholder Engagement: Provide stakeholder assistance throughout deployment to avoid/resolve technical issues - Preferred Skills: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Purview, Azure SQL Server, Kusto, and warehouse management tools like Blue Yonder.

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
