As part of GMS, the Americas Gaming Retail Sales organization is transforming how we engage with retail accounts. To drive this transformation, we’re accelerating growth in digital gaming. This role will serve as a critical link in shaping Xbox Digital @ Retail sales strategies across our distribution and channel business throughout the United States, Canada and LATAM.

Responsibilities
- Drive sales of Microsoft’s Xbox Digital and POSA products through e-distribution partners by:
- Building and executing an effective assortment strategy.
- Enabling retail marketing activities (advertising, product placement, merchandising).
- Collaborating with internal category management and product development teams.
- Developing and strengthening partner relationships.
- Maximize revenue, contribution margin, and customer/partner satisfaction by achieving individual and team sales goals.
- Position Xbox within the gaming category by recommending product assortments and working across account teams.
- Partner cross-functionally with Category Management, Partner Marketing, Product Groups, Operations, and Business Management to ensure positive ROI for Microsoft.
- Develop brand-level long-lead forecasts, merchandising and display strategies, and manage internal tools for partner tracking and payments.
- Lead quarterly Account Business Reviews and drive forecasting accuracy.
- Negotiate product promotions and placement, recommend merchandising planograms, and leverage Microsoft technology platforms to deliver business results.
- Utilize systems and processes to measure, monitor, and manage account sales performance effectively.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field AND 5+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry OR 8+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years in sales, with required experience in retail channel sales.
- 6+ years working with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, and Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience with managing digital and gift card business lines.
- Experience working in the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Strong sales and relationship management capabilities; ability to engage at all organizational levels.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
- Proven success collaborating across cross-functional groups and virtual teams to achieve objectives.
Partner Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
