Overview

The Windows Cloud Endpoints (WCE) team is part of the Windows Cloud Experiences (WCX) organization and is dedicated to delivering customer-obsessed Windows Cloud endpoints. We have delivered a new category of endpoints, called Cloud PCs. A cloud PC device is purpose-built for Windows 365, securely connecting customers to their productivity in the cloud in seconds. As a Senior Product Manager on the WCE team, you will play a pivotal cross-functional role in shaping and delivering the future of Windows Cloud experiences.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle, including strategic planning, the flighting program, and launch readiness, ensuring we deliver customer obsessed solutions. You will drive clarity, alignment, and execution across hardware, software, and services, working at the intersection of technology and customer needs. Success in this position requires strategic thinking, business acumen, adaptability, and the ability to bring clarity to complex and ambiguous situations.

You will collaborate deeply across Microsoft, partnering with engineering, marketing, finance, design, legal, and business teams, as well as engaging directly with customers. This is a highly visible and influential role that requires clear and effective communication with diverse audiences, a passion for solving complex challenges, and a commitment to delivering customer value at scale.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading end-to-end product lifecycle management, including strategic planning, customer engagement programs, and launch readiness, with demonstrated success in delivering customer-focused solutions across hardware, software, and services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building, implementing, and leading cross-company planning and launch readiness mechanisms.
  • Experience communicating with and presenting to all levels of an organization, technical and non-technical.
  • Experience working on a solution through a full product lifecycle.
  • 5+ years of collaboration and relationship management skills for making change happen in a highly matrixed environment.


Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage release phases, including pilots, private previews, and public previews, to gather insights and refine offerings before launch.
  • Maintain momentum through disciplined cross-company planning, risk management, and transparent communication with leadership and partners.
  • Obsess over customers by leveraging data and insights to understand their needs and use that knowledge to innovate and improve the experience.
  • Drive cross-company planning, including managing dependencies across teams to ensure that features/capabilities land on time with the required scope.
  • Leverage low-friction mechanisms to drive program efficiency and transparency to key stakeholders as we deliver against our roadmap.
  • Create and deliver executive level presentations to facilitate decision making and alignment.
  • Build trust and collaborative relationships with partners across the company, including engineering, marketing, finance, design, business, legal, and more.
