The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.


As the Unified Product Market Manager, you will lead the development and execution of market development strategies, and creative concepts and assets, to ensure go-to-market planning and sales activation is aligned, on-track and delivers against business goals. As a product manager/marketing professional with demonstrated success leading content strategy, product marketing, demand generation and digital marketing, you will create awareness and generate pipeline for sales to achieve results. Success in this role means you will leverage your content strategy, communication skills, organizational discipline, and executive presence to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across functions.

3 days / week in-office

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years' experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years' experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years' experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years' experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 4+ years' experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year. Responsibilities

Market Research & Customer Insights

  • Collaborates to develop insights from market/user research, competitive analyses, and industry trends to drive differentiated market strategies.
  • Reviews market performance, customer sentiment, and feedback to refine messaging and drive continuous improvemnt.

Messaging & Positioning

  • Recommends and aligns priorities for marketing efforts tied to offerings portfolio and Solution Areas.
  • Leads content strategy and creates messaging and positioning frameworks that connect offering capabilities to customer outcomes.

Customer Acquisition & Engagement

  • Identifies and directs marketing strategies for acquisition, adoption, advocacy, and renewal.
  • Defines and executes end-to-end customer journey strategies, including user stories, demos, and scenarios.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Develops partnerships across Marketing, Sales, Services, Delivery, and Engineering to deliver customer value and company growth.
  • Drives initiatives and programs across teams to meet organizational goals and shares best practices.

Performance Measurement

  • Defines and analyzes KPIs to measure success, identifies trends, and presents recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Owns reporting and optimization of marketing activities across channels and platforms.

Project & Change Management

  • Develops project plans for medium-complexity initiatives or supports senior colleagues on high-complexity projects.
  • Executes communication plans to share progress, blockers, and learnings.

Market Evangelism

  • Evangelizes product features internally and externally via presentations, blogs, social media, and industry events.
  • Acts as primary interface with Marketing to educate and develop content.
