The Microsoft Intune Product Group is on a mission to manage the world’s devices and apps simply and securely. Within Intune’s Customer Experience Engineering (CxE) organization, the Customer Acceleration Team (CAT) partners with our most strategic enterprise customers to accelerate adoption, resolve critical blockers, and shape the future of device and app management.

CAT is the bridge between customer reality and product innovation. We co-create with customers, translate insights into product priorities, and prototype tomorrow’s scenarios today. This role is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of customers, engineering, and AI-driven innovation.

The Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) CAT team is looking to hire a Technical Program Manager (TPM) – Customer Excperience Engineering, Intune to join our Architecture team. A candidate who can work across UEM CAT and Intune Engineering to identify and build effective product demonstrations for our internal demo environments. This role is for someone who thrives at the intersection of product strategy, technical execution, and operational efficiency. You’ll be responsible for identifying and building demos, generating automation to hydrate the demos in shared environments, building end user documentation for running the demos, and working to continuously keep all items up to date to reflect the latest capabilities.

This role places you at the heart of Microsoft Intune’s product journey. As a CAT TPM, you will work with our most trusted customers, accelerate adoption of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM), and directly influence the future of the product. You are a core part of engineering and partnering with, field, and research teams to prototype, experiment, and scale innovation, ensuring Intune continues to lead in enterprise device and app management.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ years experience, hands-on knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) with Microsoft Intune or equivalent platforms (e.g., Workspace ONE, MobileIron, JAMF).

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 2+ years of experience in automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Power Platform, Terraform/Bicep).
  • 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Proficient communication skills with both technical and business audiences.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation (APIs, copilots, prompt engineering, low-code prototyping).
  • Comfort interpreting customer signal data (telemetry, support, CRM, forums) to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of cross-cloud security scenarios (e.g., Intune + Entra ID, Intune + Defender, Intune + Sentinel).
  • Growth mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, experimentation, and iterating based on customer feedback.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple domains (engineering, support, field, partners) to drive outcomes.

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product demo design sessions with our team, shaping effective end to product demonstrations that show the value of Intune and Microsoft Security products.
  • Design and implement automation workflows to build demo scenarios, enable demo hydration, simplify demo operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Partner with UEM CAT and Intune product engineering to understand new features and capabilities then create or update demos to showcase these features.
  • Collaborate with field teams, partners, and the global ecosystem to ensure product demos are being used effectively.
  • Contribute to a culture of sharing, learning, and continuous improvement across the CAT and CxE community.
  • Monitor usage, performance, and reliability of demo services and proactively address issues.
  • Develop documentation and training materials to support internal users of demo environments.
  • Stay current on Microsoft Security products and integrate them into demo environments where applicable.
  • Build and manage a tracking system for GCC/GCCH compliance across all Intune offerings
  • Assist with development of business tooling and processes associated with core functions of UEM CAT business operations.
