Microsoft's Cloud & AI Revenue Team has an exceptional opportunity! We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to support key analysis on Azure growth levers such as pricing concession, optimizations, fraud detection, as well as lead the Commerce Prioritization process to help the business prioritize new initiatives based on criticality of business needs.
The Azure Revenue team operates at the heart of Microsoft’s Cloud & AI business, owning revenue at an all-up level across Azure. This team drives clarity and alignment in a highly matrixed organization, influencing decisions that impact multi-billion-dollar revenue streams. Beyond traditional finance, the role offers exposure to strategic initiatives like commerce prioritization and growth driver analysis, requiring collaboration with engineering and finance stakeholders. This role follows a flexible work model, requiring on-site presence at our Redmond campus three days a week.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
- OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience building Excel models and leveraging financial systems for accurate analysis and reporting OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
- OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
- 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
- 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.

Responsibilities
Azure Growth Drivers:
- Drive deep understanding and lead rhythm of business for Azure growth drivers such as pricing concession, optimizations, fraud detection.
- Turn ambiguous and complex data into clear narratives by creating analysis and reporting on growth drivers that connects to business performance.
- Work across multiple stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and follow up on actions.
Commerce Prioritization:
- Build effective process to manage and coordinate Commerce Prioritization work stream.
- Owning stakeholder management across multiple finance groups and engineering groups.
- Create clarity and transparency on prioritization decisions.
Protect:
- Ensures compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processes.
- Drives corrective measures.
- Consults with business partners on sharing financial information, approved instruments and processes, and consistency with corporate policies.
- Collaborates with Compliance groups to ensure team is current on company policies and procedures.
