As a Senior Finance Manager for Azure Revenue, you will lead product-level target setting for Microsoft’s multi‑billion‑dollar Azure business, design durable planning frameworks that drive long-term growth, and identify and quantify growth drivers across products and go-to-market motions. You will build effective processes to coordinate across finance, sales, marketing, and product teams, drive alignment among diverse stakeholders, and craft compelling narratives around growth trajectories for key Azure workloads. You will translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights, prepare executive-ready materials for senior leadership reviews, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of integrity and collaboration.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ year(s) of experience building advanced financial models using Excel to generate actionable insights to drive business outcomes.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
  • 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
  • 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
  • 1+ year(s) of delivering clear, concise presentations to senior audiences
  • 1+ year(s) experience applying statistical or predictive analytics techniques using tools such as Python, R preferred

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Analysis

  • Lead product-level target setting for the Azure business

Protect

  • Ensures compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring the accuracy of financial documents and business processes. Drives corrective measures. Consults with business partners on sharing financial information, approved instruments and processes, and consistency with corporate policies. Collaborates with Compliance groups to ensure the team is current on company policies and procedures.
