Overview
Our team at Europe North, and the Central Europe & Asia (North MCC) is there to support digital growth of 20+ countries across the region. Together with the regional leadership and local resources the team provides end to end care to our enterprise and public sector customers throughout all of the commercially available Microsoft products, focusing on transforming business processes and generating value.
As a Country Manager for Romania, Moldova and CCA, you will be responsible to orchestrate the business execution in your respective countries. You will manage a team of Account executives and Account Technology Strategists, responsible for serving customers and delivering results across Enterprise and Public Sector customers. As part of your role you will be responsible for representing Microsoft in your country, and delivering success both for our customers, partners and Microsoft. This position allows you to show excellence in owning a commercial business end to end, managing a strong sales team with an outcome-first mindset, while helping educate the market about new and emerging technologies and being the representative of cutting-edge innovation.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications (RQs)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Substantial related experience, including senior sales leadership roles, managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams, coaching solution sales and account development strategies, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations OR equivalent experience
- Proven experience leading large sales and technical specialist organizations, selling and delivering complex solutions to enterprise customers
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

Responsibilities
- You will manage & support a team of sales professionals, to deliver financial results in their assigned territories. You will be responsible for the overall results of the country, and for
- You will orchestrate cross-functional collaboration by mobilizing the right technical, financial, and operational resources from across Microsoft’s global ecosystem to empower your teams and accelerate business outcomes. Your leadership ensures that local execution is synchronized with corporate priorities and responsive to regional opportunities and challenges.
- As the single point of accountability for the business outlook in your countries, you will provide actionable insights, identify scalable best practices, and surface systemic challenges that require broader organizational support. You will act as a strategic connector between local execution and global strategy.
- You will be responsible for key relationships in your countries to help build Microsoft’s image and maintain a strong relationship focused on the value of digital technologies and AI.
- In your operational remit, you will oversee the country cluster’s business and sales operations, ensuring that execution capabilities, governance, and performance management systems are optimized for agility, compliance, and impact. You will partner with internal senior leaders to align country-level execution with long-term strategic planning.
- As the legal representative of the local Microsoft entities, you will hold Power of Attorney and be responsible for the integrity of all in-country operations beyond Sales and Marketing, including compliance, governance, and external representation.
- You will champion a culture of inclusion, lead intentional talent strategies to attract, develop and retain critical talent, and lead as a role model the external agenda of all specialist sellers to build the market. You will amplify the voice of the field, represent the company externally, and advocate for Microsoft’s mission and strategic priorities in the market.
