The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.
The Cloud & AI Infrastructure CSA is responsible for accelerating Azure adoption and enabling AI readiness at scale by delivering secure, resilient, and modernized cloud infrastructure solutions. The role focuses on:
Migration & Modernization: Leading customer engagements to migrate and modernize workloads, ensuring optimized architecture for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
AI-Ready Infrastructure: Preparing customers for production AI at scale by implementing robust infrastructure foundations and governance models.
Unified Delivery Excellence: Driving delivery consistency across Unified accounts, contributing to Azure consumption plans, and ensuring completeness and accuracy of customer success plans.
Risk Mitigation & Compliance: Providing oversight for technical delivery, ensuring resiliency, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Innovation & Repeatability: Developing and sharing repeatable IP and best practices to accelerate time-to-value and improve customer experience.
This role is fully on-site.

Qualifications
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
• Education & Experience
o Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
AND several of experience in:
• Cloud/infrastructure technologies
• IT consulting/support
• Systems administration
• Network operations
• Software development/support
• Technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
o OR equivalent experience in these areas.
Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced Degree (Master’s) with several years experience, or Bachelor’s with several + years in cloud/infrastructure roles.
• Proven track record in Azure migration, modernization, and resiliency projects.
• Experience in multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
Certifications & Technical Requirements
• Mandatory/Foundational
o AI Fundamentals (AI-900) or higher for AI fluency.
• Role-Aligned Advanced Certifications
o Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
o Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) (recommended for security depth)
o Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Additional Advantage
o Certifications in DevOps (AZ-400), Kubernetes (CKA), or multi-cloud platforms.

Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities of Cloud & AI Infrastructure CSA (CSA GD)
1. Drive Azure Consumption & Modernization
• Lead migration and modernization of customer workloads to Azure, ensuring optimized architecture for performance, security, and cost.
• Deliver AI-ready infrastructure to support large-scale AI adoption and innovation.
2. Unified Delivery & Factory Oversight
• Ensure repeatable delivery across accounts to achieve targeted outcomes at each stage of the MCEM cycle.
• Provide oversight for Unified and Factory engagements, ensuring delivery quality and customer satisfaction.
3. Technical Leadership & Solution Plays
• Execute solution plays such as:
o Migrate and Modernize Your Estate
o Unify Your Data Platform with Governance and Security
o Innovate with Azure AI Apps and Agents
• Act as a technical orchestrator, aligning customer priorities with scalable cloud and AI solutions.
4. Risk Management & Compliance
• Implement proactive resiliency and security measures for Azure environments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements during infrastructure transformation.
5. Customer Engagement & Influence
• Own the Azure Consumption Plan, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with CSAMs and STU teams to drive next-best actions and generate incremental pipeline.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for infrastructure and AI readiness.
6. Skilling & IP Contribution
• Maintain technical intensity through certifications and role immersion programs.
• Contribute to IP development and share best practices across the CSA community.
