Overview
We are searching for a Senior Business Manager – Industry Solutions Business Performance. Reporting to the General Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to work in close partnership with your organizational leadership, finance, HR and the business management community and lead a diverse set of workloads.
In this role, you will need to be self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and skilled at communicating in an agile environment while driving high quality results. You will develop relationships across all levels of the organization, and leverage knowledge of ISD’s culture, goals, and business approach to enable organizational clarity, effectiveness and impact across our teams. As a Senior Business Manager, you will play a critical role in aligning and executing the strategic planning processes alongside the leadership team, ensuring that all plans are in harmony with the business objectives and adapted to the unique demands of the organization. You will ensure internal continuation of business operations during all times, including periods of change or special circumstances, and work closely with Microsoft teams and other stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive execution plans. You will design budgets based on the strategic direction for the upcoming year, manage the budget throughout the year and develop strong internal networks, enhancing your ability to support and drive the team's activities in line with the leader's goals.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management) AND 6+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience leading complex programs and projects.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, or business-related roles
- OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management) AND 12+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in Business, program and strategy leadership with excellence.
- Experience in framing complex problem statements, ideas and projects in executive-ready slides.
- Functional knowledge of internal financial systems and tools.
- Experience in a complex, fast-paced business environment.
Business Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities
Rhythm of the Business (RoB)
- You will partner with the leadership team to develop and execute the rhythm of business (ROB), defining key business and strategic rhythms, participation, and work back plans.
Budget & Headcount Management
- You will use your understanding of the organization's strategy and deliverables for the upcoming fiscal year to design budgets in partnership with the leadership team.
- Responsible for the day-to-day ISD OPEX budget management in partnership with Finance, including HC management, monthly and quarterly close, quarterly reforecast, and communications to budget owners.
Extension of Org Leader and Communications
- You will leverage knowledge of the leader's goals and approach to ensure team activities are aligned with the leader's objectives.
- Supports the leader in communicating key goals, priorities, and definitions.
- Maximizes a culture to support and represent the leader and team. Informs tactical and strategic business decisions for the leader.
- Supports the landing of organizational changes.
People & Culture
- You will monitor team health and support the leader in responding to team culture issues, as well as promoting culture initiatives (e.g., Diversity and Inclusion, hiring, onboarding).
- You will represent BP&P in ISD led People & Culture v-teams, contribute to planning, and drive initiatives with the business.
Strategic Projects
- You will engage in strategic projects or programs as needed.
